This is why we work to bridge the gap between the brands we work with and culture and community. It's so important for us to push what people actually care about, and elevate them with brands that align.

Thank you! This is needed. I really want to see more brands grappling with truth rather than fantasy – instead of offering this kind of neuro-balm to smooth over every challenging moment, with the promise that everything is great on the other side of this purchase.

We are dealing with an interlocking system of crises which we are only being exposed to the very tip of in the western world. As that exposure increases, brands that are living in la la land are going to be abandoned for the ones prepared to meet people in that harsher reality. Escape will always be a temptation, relief is needed, but it can't be the status quo.

This reminds me, of I think a "farside"comic showing a man sitting in a house watching the sunset on TV and through the window was the real sunset !! But he choose a mediated version ...its older technology but probably where the dissociating began !

I know the one! That’s exactly it…I need to track it down. Those Farside comics were great.

It must have been in one of those calendars…or maybe the anthology books the fossils used to have.
